Bloc Party sind zurück und schaffen es mit ihrer neuen Single Traps endlich mal wieder etwas vom alten Glanz aufblitzen zu lassen und auch wenn sich der Sound von Traps nicht so recht mit alten Veröffentlichungen vergleichen lässt ist da trotzdem dieser Vibe wie man ihn bei älteren Alben wie Four und Silent Alarm verspürte. Dies gibt auf jeden Fall Anlass zur Hoffnung, dass das neue Album Alpha Games, dessen Veröffentlichung für den 29. April 2022 angedacht ist, nach viel zu langer Zeit endlich mal wieder ein gutes Bloc Party Album werden könnte.
