In ihrer Heimat Griechenland sind sie bereits ganz große Stars. Nun wird es Zeit, dass die restliche Welt ihnen vermehrte Aufmerksamkeit schenkt: Villagers Of Ioannina City! 2019 erschien ihre bis dato letzte, aber auch beste Platte „Age Of Aquarius“. Ab dem 18. September 2026 hat das Warten ein Ende und das dritte Album „Venceremos“ (via Napalm Records) erblickt das Licht der Welt. Dies wird ein Konzeptalbum sein, welches vor dem Hintergrund einer dystopischen Zukunft spielt, die von Illusion, Kontrolle und Angst geprägt ist. Passend dazu wurde von Adam Barker (gedreht und produziert), in Zusammenarbeit mit der Video Produktion „Video Ink„, die erste Single „Ghosts In The Sky“ visuell eingefangen. In jeglicher Hinsicht ein Highlight!
