Und täglich grüßt das Murmeltier… so oder so ähnlich müssen sich Sunflower Bean im Jahre 2014 gefühlt haben. Denn mit rund 50 Konzerten in ihrer Heimatstadt kann sich schon das ein oder andere Déjà-vu ergeben. Das Debüt „Human Ceremony“ wurde erneut mit unzähligen Shows around the world gefeiert.
Doch wer oder was sind Sunflower Bean? Wild, unordentlich, sexy, poliert, nihilistisch, belebend, laut, erwachsen, faszinierend und mit einem einzigartigen Sound. So sagt man.
„I Was A Fool“ war dann der Durchbruch. Sängerin und Bassistin Julia Cumming, Gitarrist Nick Kivlen und Schlagzeuger Jacob Faber sind eine der meistgehandelten Bands der Ostküste. Zielsetzung war es eine der aufregendsten Bands zu sein. Wir sollten also unbedingt mal eine der Live-Shows verfolgen.
