Im letzten Jahr meldeten sich Death Cab For Cutie mit ihrem fulminanten neuen Album „Asphalt Meadows“ zurück und schafften es quasi auf Knopfdruck, dass sich die Millenial-Z-Emo-Kids wieder in ihre Jugend zurückversetzt fühlten. Aber auch an neuen Hörern dürfte es bei Songs wie Roman Candles nicht mangeln. Trotz modernisiertem Sound hat die Band nichts von ihrem Charme eingebüßt und war im März zuletzt für zwei Termine in Deutschland unterwegs.
