The Static erzählt von emotionaler Unruhe, Nähe und dem Gefühl, in einem inneren Loop festzustecken. Zwischen Anziehung und Überforderung entsteht ein permanentes Rauschen – „lost in the static of you“ – das man eigentlich durchbrechen müsste, aber nicht will.
